Flanders Fields.(poem)

I was meaning to save this for Rememberance Sunday in a couple of days time but it is such a beautiful poem i am proud to share.

Meritings explained perfectly about how it came that poppies ended up being a symbol of the fallen, that after the shelling the fields were covered in poppies.

It is Sunday that is Rememberance day, we must never forget those lost innocent souls who had no idea what they were in for, some came back to live with it others died .

The war changed millions of peoples lives, many lost husbands, wives, son’s, many peoples lives were changed dramatically.  There was much heartace and pain and still is when young men come home from war severely wounded and having to change there way of thinking and behaving and learning to walk again and changing there life forever.
